Whose feet are these?
They can not possibly be mine... but I am afraid they are.
I looked down yesterday and almost screamed. I could not believe my feet had blown up like balloons for no apparent reason other than the fact that I am carrying over twenty pounds of baby, fluid, etc. All I can say is my feet are protesting and I do not have ankles anymore.
The worst part is...they hurt. Not too mention they do not fit in most of my shoes. Is this why there a correlation with being barefoot and pregnant? I am thinking it is real possibility.
The good news is my doctor is going to do another ultrasound on April 3rd to check for size of the baby, not my feet :). I am measuring about two weeks ahead of my due date and he doesn't want this little bundle to get too big. Andrew was 9lbs and 9oz and I do not recommend it. The girls were a more manageable 7lbs and a few ounces. I was hoping their little sister would follow suit.
Well I am off to put my feet up and hope for the best....RELIEF!
Any tips out there for living with these freaky feet for the next month or so?

(((Hugs!)))
You're almost there! Maybe she'll come early.
At least it's starting to get warmer You can wear flip-flops now. :)
I agree with the flip flops, unless you're like me and trip over your own feet! I've always been a bit clumsy. We can't wait to see her face on the blog. How about a picture of you??

Looks like you are getting very, very close now to your sweet princess coming!!! And, I'm glad you have gotten some relief by keeping those beautiful feet up!
Drink lots of extra water and put them up anytime you sit. I hope they go down, I remember how painful that was myself!
How exciting that you are about to meet your baby!!!!
Oh, you poor thing! The only tip I have is to keep doing what you're doing - put your feet up and rest. Don't worry about the house or any xtras - let the dh and kiddos do what they can and enjoy being pampered for a couple of weeks before the sleepless nights!
I had to wear flip flops the last month with Jenna ... but it was all worth it! I'll pray that you'll be more comfortable. Your toenails look pretty!:-)

Hang in there! My feet did the same thing! Just take time out to put them up occasionally during the day. This too shall pass! Put a cute adjustable toe ring on and an ankle bracelet to go with that sweet pedicure and you'll at least feel groovy. That's what I did. It works!
Make that barefoot, pregnant, AND groovy!
I can't believe your feet look that GOOD! And I love the painted toenails! I am sorry that your feet hurt, though.... keep your feet (and chin) up. :-) It won't be long now!
Perhaps some Crocs would be more comfortable than your regular shoes and give more support than flip-flops? I remember I swelled out of most of my shoes this late into my pregnancies, too.
lots of hugs!!!

I want to know WHO painted your toe nails? Was it your wonderful husband?
Rich
I know those feet are not yours! You have beautiful legs, calves, and ankles. They will return soon! In the meantime, I hope you find some relief. I feel for you!!
I feel for you! The same thing happened to me and I remember after the deliveries ~ I was amazed to see between my toes again!!! Hang in there!! Not too much longer until your littlest princess arrives!
Wow, we have a lot in common - the last time my DH was deployed I just had my 3rd and found out I was expecting my 4th. That was a long and large deployment ;o)
Keep those feet up and be sure to treat yourself to a pedi whenever you can!
