It has been so long, I almost forgot how to post.
Any of you who know me, know that I am an all or nothing kind of girl. When I am on I am on, when I am off, I am off. As you can see I have been OFF on the blog.
It seemed that the longer I went the harder it was for me to post. I am the typical first born over-achiever that puts tons of pressure on myself to do all things perfectly...this has been a hindrance to my blogging at times.
It has been busy the past couple of weeks. All three kids and Adam all had parts in our church Christmas program, which was a fun but busy time of rehearsals and performances. Just as that was finishing up, we got hit with a huge ice storm that crippled our state. Since then I have been doing all of the things moms do during the Christmas season; shop, wrap, cook, shop some more, bake, wrap some more, cook nonstop, you get the picture.
I have said all of this to say, " I am back". In order to keep realistic expectations for myself and not neglect Adam and the kids in the process, I am going to try to blog at least once a week. Surely, I can do that. I am thinking this will keep the pressure off. If I get the chance to blog more than once a week, GREAT.
I have missed all of you and am glad to be back. This is like therapy.

I had to chuckle at the comment above! What a sweetie you have! Welcome back! I completely understand - it's hard to carve out time for blogging on top of everything else. But, as Raising Five says, we should "live first, blog later!" Blessings.
(((Hugs!))) You know we luv ya. :)
I missed you and am happy you are back! I have learned too to watch my time when it comes to blogging. I used to spend a lot of time doing it, but then it fizzled a bit. I think of you and hope you are doing well!! Merry Christmas!
We feel the same way. We haven't posted anything on our BLOG in a while, and it is hard to find time right now to post.
Glad to hear you guys made it through the ice storm. That looked NASTY!
Hope you guys have a GREAT CHRISTMAS. We are staying in MD this year with only some friends coming over Christmas evening for desert (YEAH). It will be nice to be able to stay in our PJ's all day.
I hear ya loud and clear on this one! I think I am down to blogging once a month! I'll make time soon...
Loved the picture and the letter. I am so with you on the letters. I thought I could get away from sounding braggy with poems. Instead we try to keep the letter short. I always look forward to your letter and picture. They are awesome!
I love ya and am glad we are in touch through your great blog! Merry Christmas to you and your precious family!
Hugs to you, Charlotte!! I completely understand the issues... I'm having the same issues currently. Glad to read and see whatever you post (and whenever)!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
hugs!
