Happy Birthday Emma

It is hard to believe that our first born is turning eleven years old today. I can clearly remember the snowy day that she was born. She has been such a blessing in our lives.

Not only is she turning a year older, but she is growing in many ways. For one thing, she is literally growing like a weed. She is almost as tall as I am and soon we will be sharing shoes. She has grown intellectually and is consistently getting straight As in school, we are so proud of her. She has matured and has become such a dependable friend and very responsible. She has grown in her faith and has shown spiritual maturity, we are so proud to see her put others before herself and demonstrate so many virtues that we are trying to instill in her.

I could go on and on, but I will just tell you that we have one great kid. I know she will be such a great helper as we bring this new baby into the family.

It breaks my heart that in seven years she will be going off to college. Where does the time go?

Happy Birthday sweet Emma! We love you.
